Dr. Keiarasch ‘Kia’ Parssanedjad

Dr. Kia Parssanedjad joined TVM Capital in 2007 and is an Advisor for the Healthcare Private Equity activities of TVM. He focuses on growth capital and buyout investment opportunities in SME healthcare companies. Dr. Parssanedjad has made major contributions to building a strong network in the SME healthcare arena in Europe.

In this time at TVM Capital, he evaluated more than 400 investment opportunities in the area. He worked on the investments in Riemser Arzneimittel AG, EUSA Pharma and pritidenta GmbH and one exit and supported the investments considerably in their value growth development. He started his career at Venturepark Incubator AG in 2000, where he consulted and evaluated investment opportunities primarily in the eHealth arena.

Before he joined McKinsey he was a consultant at CII Group AG in Berlin focusing on healthcare. Being an Engagement Manager at McKinsey’s European Healthcare Practice he advised a wide range of leading healthcare institutions on buyout transactions, growth strategy development, marketing & sales and business building in numerous projects. Academically he completed medical studies at the University of Essen, Germany, at Harvard University, Boston, and at St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore, India. He holds a doctor degree for his molecular biological work in the field of gene therapy.
